Build Up Tassie

Build Up Tassie is the exciting new project of Social Impact Program with Centacare Evolve Housing. We are supporting a crew of young people in Hobart's Northern suburbs to join the construction and building industry. We are providing one on one support and training, linking them to opportunities in employment, work experience and volunteering and empowering them to build their future. We are partnering with Wilson Homes to build 400 houses. Help us Build a House, Build a Life, Build a Future!

SESSION 1 VIDEO - Let's Get Excited!

Build Up Tassie has started! Great to be in the zone. We have already had results. 2 young people are employed through yourtown Social Enterprises working on our CEH maintenance work and 1 person has been employed with Wet-Seal Water Proofing. Build It Tasmania has also taken on 3 young apprentices who are working on Green Point Rd Stage 1 of CEH Master Plan with Wilson Homes. Our young people are working really hard on preparing to get a job, getting skills and improving their livelihoods. Build Up Tassie is committed to each of our young people. We are looking forward to Week 2 Build Up Tassie Orientation.
